Cara finally lost it and could barely watch. She was so worried that Violet would drown. Forget the fact that Grandma is giving Violet her bath and that Grandma has raised four of her own kids, has four other grandkids, and is a Registered Nurse! Thank goodness for Grandma!

Violet was born on January 10, 2009 at 3:45p.m. She weighed 8lbs. 2oz. and was 19 inches long. She is perfect with very dark brown hair and a gentle cry. Cara is doing better now, but she wasn't as soon as the baby delivered. She hemmorraghed a lot and had to be transfused two units of blood. Cara and Violet are home now and the breast feeding is going well. Violet's daddy, Matt, has been here around-the-clock and is very good with caring for both of the girls. Matt comes with experience in caring for babies because he has a two year old sister and a five week old sister! Therefore, Violet has two very young aunties and will even be in the same grade as her Auntie Claire! Grandma Debbie is trying to take a week off to help everyone get settled and then it is back to work unfortunately. Grandma loves being home with the girls but someone has to bring in the bacon so she will go back to work next week.
